Puratchi Kalaignar Captain Vijayakant was born on 25th August 1952, in Madurai district. He is an Indian actor and politician who is also loved by all the minds of the people. He has been the leader of the actor’s association in Tamil cinema and has achieved various achievements. He acted in more than 150 films in his film career, spanning four decades.
His birthday is celebrated as Poverty Eradication Day. Captain Vijayakant and his fans are always happy to help the poor and needy pepoles in many ways. An important one of them is Annathanam. Annathanam is an expression of love for God.
